Her parents in Guatemala were in an accident and died from their injuries. Esther does not have any family left in Guatemala and she does not have any relatives or friends who could help her financially. Her parents were her sole financial providers and they did not leave her any assets when they died. In desperation, Esther started to work illegally. While working in a factory, she met Gerardo, who was also working illegally. Esther and Gerardo dated for a few months. Gerardo broke up with Esther when he learned that she was pregnant. Esther gave birth to their son, Isaac. Isaac is now 5 years old and was diagnosed with autism. Esther would like to remain in Canada with her son. Questions: 1.
