Hockey FIT

This course (FIT 1106 Hockey) is a part of your General Education Curriculum. More specifically it is a first year learning FIT course which means you will learn about health and exercise. Physical fitness can be enhanced by balancing exercise, nutrition, and sleep. Floor hockey is one of many activities that anyone can do to stay healthy.
Create a fitness program using floor hockey skills, drills, and activities learned in class to maintain or improve your fitness level. Be sure it is safe for you and others to engage in exercise, and that the game, venue, equipment, and environment do not pose a safety risk. Follow the FITT principle as discussed in class: outline the Frequency (days per week), Intensity (low to medium), Time (15 to 45 minutes), and Type (list ten drills, games or exercises). Also mention how much sleep you plan to get each night, and what your plan is for healthy eating.Your grade for this assignment will be determined by the following rubric
